Bev. Gallagher joined the Princeton Day School faculty in 1992 as a third grade teacher. She is passionate about literacy and has developed numerous reading and writing conferences for teachers including Weaving Words and Gathering Words. She also designed Imagine the Possibilities, a program which brings noted artists, poets and writers to her Prek-12 school. Bev. has spoken at conferences nationally and internationally, bringing the world of words to a variety of audiences. Her third grade classroom was featured in Georgia Heard's book, Awakening the Heart: Exploring Poetry in Elementary and Middle School.
Recently Bev. has been working with universities collaborating with education professors regarding best teaching practices in literacy. If she is not reading or baking, she is probably laughing at the antics of her new kittens.
